The Bioinformatics Support Service of Imperial College is part of the Centre for Bioinformatics and provides in-house bioinformatics facilities for the college including hardware, software, and databases as well as expertise, support and training on their use.

We are seeking a computational biologist for bioinformatics support - a key member of our group providing bioinformatics support and training to researchers throughout Imperial College London. The successful candidate will be actively involved in collaborative research projects.

The requirements for the role are the ability to perform bioinformatics analyses and understand their computational aspects; experience in provision of training courses and/or materials; excellent communication skills; and significant wide range of bioinformatics skills and experience.

The position is initially for 3 years on the professional services job family scale 4.
